I bought a new light receptacle for my range hood,but the wiring is different.
The old one had 1 black wire and 1 white wire.the new one has 2 white wires and 2 black wires.the appliance center i ordered from and GE says this is the correct part.any advise you can offer outside of hireing an electrician would be appreciated. |

Hi,
A guess....use one white and one black wire and tape off the left over two wires. jeff. |
