Has anyone encountered a Error Code F06 on a front load Whirlpool? It will not go through a cycle, quits with this error code. I have tried un-plugging it from the wall for a few minutes and then plugged it back in. No luck, still quits with this error. Thanks for any help.

Is this whirlpool duet front load washer?
I found this on Appliance Junk * Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the * MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU) * Check the Drive Motor * Check the MCU * Check the Wire Harness If you can open up the housing and check the plugs and make sure they are properly plugged in all the way Last edited by Jay; 09-16-2009 at 12:52 PM. Yes. I went to the Whirlpool website and looked for the F06 error code. It said to try unplugging, then if that didn't work call for service. Was wondering if I have major problem or not.

* Check the Drive Motor * Check the MCU * Check the Wire Harness |
