Dishwasher burns out fuses
Model Number: 665.13772k601 Brand: Kenmore Elite Appliance Age: 1 – 5 years
My dishwasher keeps stopping. I checked the fuse and it was defective. Replaced the fuse and it ran for two days, now it is blown again.
Why would this keep happening? Where do I look next, what do I check.

Hi,
What fuse? A fuse in the dishwasher or a household fuse.

the bimetal fuse in the dishwasher.
This has happened 3 times. One time the repair guy even by passed the fuse -- which was dangerous and could have perhaps caused a fire. Anyway, the fuse in the dishwasher keeps blowing.
